Hey, this is my personal website where you can find information about myself, my Curriculum Vitae, the projects i have dealt with and finally you can find a way to contact me. Also you can find my blog here

Currently i have completed ccna classes at Hellenic American Union Thess and i am ccna valid up to 2014. Moreover i have graduated from the Department of Computer Science at University of Ioannina and i am looking for a job.

I started “messing” with computers at 1999 when i bought my first pc (pentium 3 at 733 Mhz with 64 mb ram). At that time i had no idea about computers. In the first 2 months i had managed to delete all my data twice and not only my data but also important files from the operating system. The third time i did that i tried to fix it by myself with the help of a friend that already knew some things more than me. And we did it. From that time and after i tried to learn as much things as i could for computers. Not only for software but for hardware too. An important step to this was the university when i first realised that there are other operating systems too. Then (2004) i installed linux in my pc. I started with Suse and then tried fedora, red hat and finally slackware which i installed and setup in my old pc as a personal server in order to experiment. After two months of studying tutorials, and compiling…i made it work quite efficiently and it reached 97 days uptime most.

From that time i have worked as a freelancer in the field of technical support, web development etc. Also i have worked at infoTech as a computer technician for two summers and in the support of Computer Science Department for one year. Two years ago me and two of my friends made and maintained for about two years one portal (ouienastzes.gr) about Ioannina – the city where we live. This portal does not exist anymore. Also i have been an administrator in an online  strategy game named tkoc (The Kingdoms of Chaos).

AS far as the programming languages i know, these are : c,c++,fortran, prolog, haskell, php and a little java.

From September 2011 i work as a Systems Engineer at ABC dealing mainly with the hosting field of the company. I am responsible for maintaining the servers of the company and have them running 24/7.

Also i am the one who set up the servers for the company.

Up to now i have dealt most with setting up servers in linux, webservers, mysql servers and small networks(wired and wireless) which is what i like most.
